Our Mission
Our mission is to provide affordable and accessible sensory and learning toys to children with autism and other disabilities. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to develop essential skills and experience the joy of play, regardless of their abilities. Through our subscription toy box, we strive to make a positive impact in the lives of these children and their families.
Our Story
Our journey began with a deep personal connection to the challenges faced by families of children with special needs. Growing up, our founder, Samvi S. Ranka, witnessed the impact of a genetic condition on their neighbor's daughter and later on a family friend's child. These experiences sparked a profound interest in understanding neurology and the development of the brain.

Motivated by a desire to make a difference and armed with the knowledge of the high costs associated with specialized toys for special needs children, Samvi embarked on a mission to provide an affordable alternative. This led to the creation of the "Funtastic box," a subscription toy box designed to cater to the unique needs of children with autism and other disabilities.
Through the support of our community, we have been able to positively impact the lives of numerous children.
We have witnessed firsthand the transformation that can occur when children are provided with the right tools for their development. Improved sensory, motor, and communication skills are just some of the outcomes we have observed.

Additionally, our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our recycling program. By encouraging parents to return the toys once their child has finished playing with them, we can extend the joy of play to other children while minimizing waste and environmental impact.
About the Founder
Samvi Ranka
Samvi, a dynamic high school student at Monta Vista in Cupertino, California, is known for her deep-seated drive to effectuate positive change.
She founded "The Funtastic Box," an inventive initiative providing cost-effective, personalized toy boxes to children with special needs. Her engagement in trailblazing research has led to her co-authoring a published white paper and developing a research proposal targeted at accelerating the production of vaccines for COVID-19.

As an eloquent TEDx speaker and an active member of various school clubs, including HOSA, DECA, and the MV Andaaz Bollywood Dance Team, Samvi showcases a remarkable array of talents and leadership capabilities. She has garnered recognition for her roles in leadership, community service, and a diverse set of abilities that extend from musical prowess to programming expertise.
